R.M.P C.S.I P.S.K RAJARATNAM MEMORIAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION was established in the year 2006 and is being administered by the CSI Thoothukudi Nazareth Diocesan Trust Association (India), which was bifurcated from Tirunelveli Diocesan Trust Association of church of south India with its functioning effect from 25.10.03. One of its objectives is to administer all schools viz., Elementary, Middle, High, Higher Secondary and Training school and colleges (Including B.Ed. colleges, Engineering colleges and Polytechnic Institution), and other institutions like Special schools and Art and Industrial school in Thoothukudi District to be taken over through the executive committee and in accordance with the constitution of the Thoothukudi Nazareth Diocese. Thoothukudi Nazareth Diocesan Trust Association (India) has made land lease agreement for a period of 99 years (22.06.2006 to 21.06.2105) to R.M.P-C.S.I-P.S.K. Rajaratnam Memorial College of Education.
