The Environment club is a voluntary group of students and teachers which promotes participation of students in learning about and working towards the conservation and sustainability of their environment. ECO club helps to promote, monitor and operate the environment activities of the college. The whole college community need to be involved in some capacity and more students and staff need to be encouraged to be involved in the programmes operated and monitored by the club. The purpose of the club is to create awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, preservation, and restoration, with an emphasis on educating and empowering students. Students who are interested in environmental advocacy and awareness are encouraged to join. Benefits like improved water quality and air quality, increases in biodiversity and habitat protection, and reductions in greenhouse gases (GHG), are all inherent in a strategy that protects and preserves land.
