The function of the Library Advisory Committee is to support the functioning of the library so that it can facilitate the library development plans by advocating the library development activities with the management. The purpose of the Library advisory Committee is to act as a channel of communication between the college library and its users. The Library Advisory Committee meetings should be conducted twice a year and the members have to scrutinise the new books needed for that academic year, journals and magazines. Budgetary allocations for the library will be read and other concerns related to the library will be discussed in the meeting.

OBJECTS :

The committee’s main objective is to establish a bridge between the library and the academic fraternity and the management. It helps to develop reading habit which is the basic for teaching.
